Obviously keep an eye on it and keep her quarantined as you would any new addition, but i honestly don't think you have anything to worry about.

Different topic: Are you sure she's a she? in the second picture of your original post it looks like i see some noticeable spurs by the vent, or am i crazy?

Oh yeah, and go sit in the corner for snake shopping at Petsmart... :colbert:

(my Petco never has anything but baby normals, so i'm safe :D)

Spurs have nothing to do with the sex of a BP

Doesn't look too tight to me!

No, the hide definitely doesn't look too tight, but that pink plastic spiny looking stuff may have had something to do with it. If she got tangled in it or curled up, they may have lifted some patches of her scales. I had an albino black pastel BP once and the initial hide I had him in was too tight. His scales looked just like hers, just kind of raised. I switched to a less-snug hide and within a few days it cleared up. If it doesn't clear up within a shed, begins to smell, spreads, or gets darker, I would begin to worry about rot but based on your pictures it just looks like they are pushed up or it's old stuck shed. Rot is typically a little darker than that.

I might get dragged under a train for this, but... wow. That is a gorgeous snake, no matter where she came from.
