My boy, Arlirr, also came from a Petsmart, according to the guy I got him from. Sometimes they do have morphs.

They've had a pinstripe, caramel morph, piebald and a couple other things like enchi at the PetSmart by me. Noodle was too large to keep in their displays so they kept him in the back. I had to ask to see him. I purchased him in Chicago so I'm not sure if that has something to do with it too.

This afternoon I saw a banana at Petsmart. It was on sale for around $300, and it had retained shed over the eyes (eyecaps?), at least 2 layers of shed. It was covered with partially flaked shed, and quite thin. It was trying to periscope but was unsteady, and had definite folds all along the sides. It was a sad sight. There was a normal in the hide, but I couldn't see much of it other than that it also had eyecaps, and one eye was slightly indented. I pointed out the snakes' sorry condition and the clerk seemed concerned but didn't do anything about it. :(

Quite a few pet smarts are carrying bananas now. I have been to 3 that had them and have seen people all over the country have seen them on this forum. They started getting them about a month and a half ago. There's is one larger pet smart near me that carries 5 morphs and 2 normals all the time. They even had an albino champagne on sale for $250 I almost bought.

Congrats on the banana!!! I fell in love with a female banana at pets mart, she was so friendly and didn't even flinch a little when a hand got passed in front of her face or when tons of people surrounded me while I was holding her. I was going to buy her but I have my eye set on the perfect male to breed with the snake I'll have paid off on the 24th, I may still get her if they still have her in a month or 2.

Wow, I thought female bananas were still highly coveted by breeders and rarely let go to anyone let alone Petsmart except for $$$$. If some of you truly did get a female from Petsmart, good for you! It kinda bothers me tho, ill have to admit...I got my little pastel nanner at a show from a breeder for $200, and Petsmart is selling them for just a little more....makes me cringe at what Petsmart actually got them for.

I just got my banana from petsmart for Father's Day. Completely tame and just ate her first small rat (she hadn't eaten in the 6 weeks that petsmart had her but she rocked it when I got her home!
