    I know ppl say bps don't like their heads touched but my young BP doesn't seem to mind and it's very docile.But it all depends on their personality imo

    I think just like certain bloodlines of dog breeds have their own dispositions (some aggressive, some passive), ball pythons can be the same way (heck, anything can be, including humans). There's the whole nature-vs-nurture argument, yes... But then I look at my latest rescue who has sepsis, rot, bruising, old shed, etc, and tolerates daily handling to apply medicines and do soaks. I have to hold his head so I can rub the old shed with a damp cloth each day, and while he certainly doesn't enjoy it, he has never struck at me. I'm truly amazed. Every critter is different, for sure. But *training* a snake? I'm not so sure...
