    I thought so too but for some reason it was making my humidity go insanely high. Hot hide has been at a flat 60% the entire day. Looks like I'm ready for my little boy which is hopefully around June 21st!

    The humidity spike isn't particularly safe, but not exactly drastic, as long as you handle it in a close time. But that high of humidity could lead to problems, one of the biggest being scale rot, but your humidity levels are pretty much good, other than that, man.

    Thanks. I melted two holes directly above the water bowl so when he spills some, it'll just go straight out of the holes! Hot hide's humidity has gone down to 57% so everything is safe, now! For some reason aspen was causing problems! These paper towels I have seem to be ultra absorbent.

    This'll be my final post on this thread, but here's two probes in both hides w/ humidity.
