my bp just likes mice. Is it a problem if I can't switch him to rats? He eats between 4 and 5 med/lg mice a week. I am wondering if there is a problem with the health benefits of 5 mice over 1 or 2 rats? He has been eating only mice for 5 years and just isn't interested in other things. And honestly, if I didn't have to change I would be glad too. But I will do whatever is best for Sid. Thanks.. elysheva

After 5 years of eating mice I don't think you will be able to switch to rats, it's much easier when they are younger. You can try but it will probably take some tough love and it still may not work. It's just more convenient and usually cheaper to feed 1 rat instead of 5 mice.

^What chrid said.^ That's gotta add up on the feeder bill.
