I got my first bp less than a month ago...and then he needed a friend to talk to, or anyway, that's the excuse. They're in separate cages, don't worry. Have fun with your snake, and let us know when you get another one. :D

    Haha thank you!
Yea, he's currently in a tub set up that's honestly too small for him, but it's only a temporary solution! There have been shipment issues with the big display tank... (Word of advise, international shipping doesn't work as smoothly as they proclaim.....)
I'll let him settle in in peace, and when it arrives I can move him to the proper tank in a week or so, where he can actually stretch out :) Lotsa space and Lotsa cover for the home boi

actually i didn't mean the enclosure was little. it was a useless adjective i used. BP's actually don't need alotta space and i think your guy will be fine in that space for awhile. i just think think his enclosure looks super cool with the plants, branch, bark, hide, etc. he'll have fun exploring and scooting around in there. :gj: a bigger enclosure will just be a bonus.

Haha yes, I didn't take your comment as such no worries! :) The fact that that tub is too small was just a side note of my own, more or less unrelated to your comment --- honestly it's smaller than it looks in the pictures, but that's okay, because I am literally assembling the tank atm! I had set up that temporary tank expecting to buy a much younger snake.
Now I just need to craft some rails and get my hands on a glass sheet to create a second bottom for the heat pad to work~ some more modding for cables and all, and in a couple days I'm done!

Progress of the last three days: Added a piano hinge so the top can be lifted, custom wooden strips with a “chair” profile to hold a second floor (glass), closing locks at both sides, knobs for the sliding doors, cork panels at the insides left and right, and a coconut mat at the back. Everything is custom made and painstakingly cut to size. Whew.

Still upcoming: two custom made glass sheets as a second floor, more cable drillings plus a cable security mechanism, and hopefully some print foil or paint to cover up the outside. And then I can finally clean everything and decorate :)
