Re: What would YOU pair with him?
Thanks cchardwick! I wasn't saying that making a profit is a bad thing at all, I hope I didn't offend..in fact I wish I could make enough profit breeding animals so I could quit my day job [emoji14] I was just trying to get my point across that I didn't care about genetics when I purchased my snake (other than him being a banana morph) and I wouldn't care if he produced males rather than females even though they are generally sold for less. I'm trying to be realistic that I wouldn't make a profit by breeding one snake and I'm okay with that. (And if I did make a profit, it would be that much more exciting!) In my opinion, if a hobbyist (not so much a big time breeder/business) cared more about the money than producing beautiful little creatures, they're doing it for the wrong reasons.

Holy cow that is a lot of different outcomes! And what a good looking snake too, I love the contrast. I don't think my novice eye could differentiate half of those lol that's why I'd like to stick to a single or two gene animal, to make deciphering the morph easier. But you make a very good point having so many possibilities would make for a more exciting season each year, if I were to catch the bug and continue to breed. I really appreciate your input, there's so much to think about, thank you!
