    Nope - the probe can't be moved. I changed the temp on the tstat to 89 and it appears to be hokding the temp nicely. I probably had it set too high before.

    What humidity numbers do you strive for. What is considered too high. As long as there is no condensation/wetness we should be fine no matter the number - correct.

    I am currently getting 70% humidity on the warm side and 82% on the cool side. No moisture/condensation present.

    Those humidity numbers look fine to me. There is less of a worry about humidity being too high with boas, as long as they arent kept wet. You are right to make a distinction between humid and wet though. Accurite hygrometers work really well, and have held up for me in my sulcata enclosure even after being bulldozed.

    Right now it is currently 88% humidity in Bogotoa, Colombia. Imagine how much more humid it will be once the rainy season comes to the area. I once in a while have boas that flip their water bowl while im away, and I come home to a fully steamed up tub with a bit of standing water. Snake is fine.
