The discussion in THIS thread doesn't have the square root of a rat's ass to do with feeding live vs F/T... If you feel a need to beat that dead horse's body, there are 25,864 other threads on BP.net that discuss THAT subject.

Haha. Thanks for keeping that guy on track. I'm fairly certain I specified that I do plan to switch her soon anyway so don't know what his problem is. I was just looking for temporary solutions for the meantime. I'm mid moving so I just needed the easiest advice until this is over. I should be good. Thanks!

Oh. Apparently I didn't. But either way. This is only for temp solutions. XD

This right here says a lot about you. SMH

Again, taken care of rats are not and have not been a problem for me at all.

There is a benefit of feeding live, NO waste of a life. If the rodent is not eaten it gets to go back into the rack and live another week. ;)

To get back on topic, Don't stress the prey and remember your snake knows what to do. Its in their DNA. :gj:

I like your use of "no waste of life". I was raised in a very spiritual household and while it's bothersome that said rat is in pain when it's eaten, it can be wasteful to go with f/t. :) I know this detracts from my original post, but when your snake doesn't eat a live rat, it goes on about its day as a healthy rat. When you have frozen, they could eventually be thrown away and you can't do much else. You can't really re-freeze it and so you have to get a new one next time. :P
