They're due in 7 days. I have a feeling they're close since the shells have softened in the last 2 days.

I would leave them alone and cut the other eggs after the first baby pips.

Your price is way too high you need to cut it

Ok, thank you. I'll wait it out a bit longer. Would it be worthwhile to sprinkle some anti-fungal powder in the meantime?

I don't know, I just candled and they're so severely dented that I can't see anything anymore, except a few veins. If there are live babies in there, I'm afraid they'll be deformed. Seems some of the eggs aren't that soft still either.

Re: Help! Cut this egg or not?
I WOULD NOT cut and expose it to the mold, personally.

    Hey,

I really cant tell you what to do as I have no experience yet, I can tell you what I would do, and that is follow what the experienced people are saying.

you are afraid they all might be deformed, if they are cutting now has no use but cutting now could make things worse on the healthy babies.

I think I would wait till the first one pips or at least untill day 58 or so

It's never safe to cut into a egg prior to the first hatchling pipping. There are so many things that can go wrong. It's a 60 day incubation for a reason even though most hatchlings emerge prior to 60 days based on incubation temps and internal egg genetic problems. Simple mold can safely be sprinkled with antifungal powder though. Day 55 seems to be the consensus if cutting is the only alternative without seeing pipping of the siblings.

Thank you for your advice, guys. I'm pretty frustrated trying to figure these babies out, so I've been panicking. Thanks for talking me down off the ledge ;)

Day 54: 5 of the 12 eggs are now molding. No smell yet. I sprinkled them with the powder and put them back.
