If multiple cages are being cleaned at the same time, each snake is in a separate temporary bin, but we don't have as many temporary bins as we have snakes.
When we were setting a bunch of AP cages and had more than a usual number of "homeless" snakes in the process, we did double up (in cages and the critter keepers we usually use during cleaning) but the second snake was always in a bag or deli container.
