The VE-300 looks great alone and it stacks. It holds 700watts and does both on/off and proportional. The probe cord is 10ft long.

The only thing that going to beat the VE when looking at price per features are the Herpstats.

Helix was the top model back in the day but it's a bit dated now. As stated, VE and Herpstats make a better t-stat that is less expensive. Buying a Helix is like paying more for a vacuum tube television when you can get a larger flat screen LED cheaper.

Yes with amazon prime I get packages on sunday and I did receive the ve300 on sunday an I got to say it works perfect

USPS delivers on sundays for Amazon, its a huge contract for them.
