The only thing that going to beat the VE when looking at price per features are the Herpstats.
Helix was the top model back in the day but it's a bit dated now. As stated, VE and Herpstats make a better t-stat that is less expensive. Buying a Helix is like paying more for a vacuum tube television when you can get a larger flat screen LED cheaper.
