Heh so I was right about the het pied at least. As fpr why I thought it was het pied, there was a theory that Graziani Reptiles has that the pied gene is so strong that even in hets it has some influenece, especially in leopards. There's a video where he shows two lesser leopards which were both possible het for pied. One looked like yours and the other didn't. His theory was that the het pied causes a pattern change, I don't know if he proved it out but I've seen the power of the pied gene in hets in champagne where majority of people don't even know that Corey Woods proved out that a champagne pied is a white snake. Personally, im confidant that your male is het pied at the minimum.

quoting u from the other thread - thanks. but's it's unlikely his babies will look the same if he is indeed het recessive and i pair him to other recessives to make visual Axanthics, Pieds, Albinos or Clowns. ;) Lessers, Bongos and sometimes Mojo will make a Leopard look like this if u are looking for something visual. and of course being het for strong recessives will also melt your pattern.

and i did. his sister and other clutchmates were selling for $400. i was watching him for awhile and hoping the breeder would lower his price but i just ended up taking the plunge.

yep, totally. the first generation clutch would look cool and the second generation would be crazy cool if he proves to be tripe het.

yep, besides his genes, his tail tells me he's het Pied. i've also seen strong influences from het Clown, so i hope he's got that going on also. Graziani has beautiful Leopards - their Lesser and Pastel Leopard combos are stunning. :salute:

They are both beautiful! I have seen other leopard combos that come out stripey also. I really hope he is a triple het.!
