    i hav 3 young bp, they r all the same age and size, they r bout 18inch long. i keep them in a 4f -2ft-2ft tank, i made it myself out of wood with slidin glass doors,i used wood coz i find it better 4 holdin heat then all glass, and also less of a visable area 2 ur bp, i hav a book on bp, and that says u can keep an adult in a 3ft-1ft-1ft,

    I think that 3x1x1 feet is too small for an adult. It would be hard for the snake to turn around in such a narrow area, especially once the hidespots and other decor were added. And three feet wide, really would not give a 5+ foot female enough room to stretch out and explore. I think that an adult needs a minimum size of a 55 gallon long tank; even that seems a tad narrow front-to-back in my eyes. My adult male has a custom cage that is roughly 2 feet by two feet by 5.
