I can sooooo commiserate with you. I want those cute little things so bad, and then there are the red eyed tree frogs (too adorable), and then of course there are the absolutely to die for bp morphs:love:. Oh and the dumbo rats!!!! Can't forget about them!!!! This is sooooo bad for my marriage. (He's been very accepting so far!) Pretty soon I'll have the playroom transformed into my animal room!!! I need help! If you find any therapy groups let me know. :D :P

Yeah but with our luck Christie we'd find a therapy group but there'd be this really great reptile place on the way and we'd just "stop in to have a quick peek" and there's the slippery slope to "but dear it's just one more" :P

Oh well, I have developed the perfect excuse for this new hobby...we can't have a dog (meanie landlord), our oldest son is allergic to the cat so after old Barney goes to the big catbox in the sky we won't have any more cats...sooooo what's a person to do I ask you. (and yes I can spell denial thank ya very much). On the upside my husband Mike loves the same sorts of critters I do, though he'd never had a pet rat before I talked him into the first one and now he thinks they are one of the best pets ever.

Handy having these four kids, buy the pet YOU want and present it as a gift to one of the kids. Who can say no to a pet for the kids and heck we all know who ends up really caring for it anyways LOL.

I've already got my 5 year old son trained well. son-Daddy, daddy can we please get a snake, a rat (and anything else within reach) (me)-But dear he really wants one of these and it'll help teach him responsibility (to myself-yeah I know who's really gonna take care of it but I WANT one) and of course dad just rolls his eyes. It's great! Eventually we wear him out and get another animal. I feel like Noah's ark. 2 kids, 2 cats, 2 dogs, 2 fish and the hamster and snake. Need more of them so they don't feel left out. Good gracious I need help. Can you say obsessive compulsive? :P ;)

Haha wait till Becky and I get you convinced that rats (especially males) make great pets (Rats -- not just for dinner anymore)

Oh I've had them before - regular and hairless. My next one is going to have to be a dumbo! Omigosh they are too adorable! I prefer females only because I hate having to explain what those little jellybeans are on the males .... lol .... :D

It would be so hard to let such cute little babies go. I love that first one. Beautiful! What are the technical colors/names for them?

these would be called harlequins, they have alot of pattern/color on their sides and dorsals. if the color was just on the dorsal they would be fires/flames. i don't get caught up in the crested morphs too much i just look for something different that catches my eye.
