    FINALLY!!! I just got to watch Malfoy take his first meal in months (his first meal with me)!!!!!

    I decided to take the wheel off the mouse cage (one that hangs on the outside) and place it upside down on top of the tank. Malfoy came out of his hide looking, and I waited 30 minutes before I dropped the mouse in.

    I am so relieved!

    Best part is, my husband got the swallowing of the mouse on video for my son to see.

    Congrats on the successful first feeding mel! Now that your husbandry is dialed in and your snake is acclimating to it's new environment he should eat consistently for you. Oh wait, he's a ball python, disregard that :D. (JK) Good job getting him to eat.

    Malfoy was very interested in being outside. Had to take him back in the house because he was very interested in going places, and I don't have the experience for that yet!
