I got a 4'x8' of expanded PVC sheeting from a local sign company. You can now buy a similar product at Home Depot for about $60 a sheet, I think. It's pretty close to 1/2". I think I used 11mm which was a little under, but you can also get 13mm. I don't recall what it is at Home Depot. It's all supposedly around 1/2" though. I was pleased with it. Super easy to cut and work with.

Thanks, once I get back in town I will probably be building one...or two. Can never have too much rack space.
