    Re: Prey size help!
So I tried to feed him a couple of hoppers today and he ate the first one (he's still kind of struggling with the head first concept) and he looked slightly interested in the 2nd, but I realized that there was fresh poop in his enclosure and he kept looking for a way out instead of resting or looking at the mouse (he really doesn't like his poop lol) so after he wasn't interested, I decided to clean his cage. Do you think I should leave the 2nd hopper there overnight or should I wait until next feeding time? (I feed him every 5 days)

I decided to try again anyways and he ate the 2nd one! Didn't strike at it but once I put it down he went after it. I wish he would have eaten 3 but he still ate a little more than 10% of his body weight, so I'm happy.
Note to self: Make sure cage is free of poop before feeding

Sounds good. Any time I've fed two prey items I've gotten the same response. They eat the second a little slower... which makes sense. Glad he got his fill. Sounds like he's in good hands now. :)
