I am not 100% on the super pastel clown. I was thinking leopard but I am just going to have to prove him out.
As for the solid dorsal male once again I am unsure. I want to say a normal het clown? Heck I really don't know. The breeding stock was from a really reduced pastel leopard clown. Thanks for the nice comments

oh wow! they all came from one clutch?!! wowweee!! that's the best clutch i think i've ever seen!

even the Pastel Leopard there has some crazy pattern going on. i've seen many het Clowns and think that the Clown influences on hets are strong. they're either brighter or patterns seem more bold.

Yeah I agree you 100% the het clown stuff looks different to me too. Thank you for the compliment.

Can't argue with that! Dream clutch right there. I currently have 4 clowns, 3 het clowns, and 2 leopards (1 of which is 100% het clown). Can't wait to start plugging these guys into some breeding programs next season, though my Pastel Clown has seen a few girls this winter, just waiting on eggs now to see if he got the job done.

I wish you good Karma on you for an amazing turn out on the pastel clown pairings.

Not sure if the new lens is exactly what I thought it would be, I am looking for a close up lens. Back to google search for the exact lens I am looking for.

That should be a fun lens. Granted I'm using a crop sensor (an old Canon Rebel XT), but I found that my Canon 50 mm f1.4 prime is awesome for pictures of hatchlings and my Sigma 17mm-50mm f2.8 is the best for yearlings and adults (I like to be close enough to wrangle them when they start to wander).

Consider a very fast 24mm or 35mm prime. You could get some real cool blurred backgrounds like in you second picture. Also, http://www.dpreview.com and on YouTube, https://www.youtube.com/user/christopherfrost and https://www.youtube.com/user/thatnikonguy are some great resources for gear reviews.
