I don't think the wrinkled one is going to make it, it's about half flat compared to all the other eggs. I guess i'll just have to wait and see how it looks in a few days.

If it's bad it will start turning black, right ?

Congrats on your first! What a rush, right?

If you want to know ahead of time if an egg is likely to make it or not, check out this video from JKR about candling eggs for fertility: https://youtu.be/s2MuZBMGdJA
It's pretty simple to do as long as you've got a flashlight worth a darn. Good luck!

    Best regards,
    Eric

Hey Jay! Congrats on the clutch. Great job. As far as the wrinkled egg is concerned along with the flatness does make it look suspicious. However i think you should give it a fighting chance bc these eggs are resilient and can bounce back given the chance. Make sure you get that humidity percentage up to 99% ASAP. Good Luck. :gj:

Congrats on the clutch, a good sized Clutch to!! ... Eric's spot on with the candling video to verify fertile eggs (plus it's pretty cool to see) :gj: .... as far as the egg that's not looking so fortunate .. I would not hold my breath on that one however I do agree with Albert you should at least give it a chance because they can be pretty tough, if you candle the eggs you probably won't be able to see into that one very well but as long as it doesn't start to discolor badly, mold excessively, or stink badly ... I would leave it for now. Good luck to you

Thanks for all the info, I just candled all the eggs and there are veins in all of them. Even the flat/wrinkled one. The veins in the normal 8 eggs were Huge compared to what was in that video, the last one was harder to see but still had veins. I hope it makes it.
