Since your uth is off and you got (presumably dry) paper towels lining your enclosure, it may be that that color change is a normal part of the healing process. I'd be surprised if your vet isn't willing to answer that question over the phone.

I didn't actually ask to talk to her. She told everyone at the first visit she would do a recheck at no charge so I just called for an appointment. Take him tomorrow actually. And yes he's on clean dry paper towels. Those pictures are from the 5th when I found it. (Started using tapatalk and was able to add them) But the area looks the same.

Awesome. Figured you were keeping things dry, but didn't want to assume. Sounds like everything is spot on. What did the vet have to say?

She did another look on the slide and said she didn't see the bacteria and white cells that she saw last time. So while it's not looking better apparently it's getting better. I can relax a bit lol. We decided not antibiotics cuz the slide looked better. She going to see him again in a week but I think that's more for my benefit! Thanks for asking!
