I'm really sorry you bother you all again but over here in the Uk it's getting really late and he has made absolutely no progress yet he hasn't moved. He has been I'm the same position for around three hours now but still refuses to give up, is it okay if I leave it with him overnight? Should I make an attempts to move it?

^ How did this turn out?

My 2 yr. old+ male will still occasionally take his feeders backwards. Happened again today.

Jörmungandr doesn't seem to know how to food and keeps taking his backwards. He swallows them down just fine so I'm not too concerned it's just amusing to watch.

My girl has tried it every way possible, but the funniest thing shes ever done was to grab, constrict, then drop the rat in her water bowl, then she laid on the edge of the bowl and struck at the water till she hit the rat and tried for 5 mins. to swallow first the tail first, then the side swallow then finally she found the head, then 10 mins, later after swallowing a very soggy rat and leaving me a nice mess to clean up, she went into her hot hide to take a well deserved nap, after all she worked hard for that meal.

A while back my Bredli python took a mouse (at that point she was on small rats) *sideways*, folding it in half as she got it down. It looked like she'd swallowed a tennis ball! [emoji4].

Leave him be. He will eventually figure it out. I would leave it til morning and if still nothing then remove it and wait til next feeding time and start again. They do eventually figure it out.
