Coke on my keyboard. Thanks for that.

I'd also rather pay a little extra for home delivery. Having a smaller car (cobalt) means if it doesn't fit in it, I can't get it. Which means Home Depot now gets all my business instead of Lowe's because they will do cuts for you. Is having both shipping destinations (home and hub) available an option?

It is an option. I'm talking with some carriers now after receiving wrong/bad information from one company.

I did exactly that last July after FedEx screwed up and mistakenly put all of the overnight/express boxes into the back of a truck for ground shipment instead of putting them on a plane. As a result the boa took two days to arrive and I wanted to make sure he was ok.

The counter people didn't bat an eye.

Just an aside to this, from someone who works in the shipping industry. Do everything you can to protect the corners of your shipments. Most items like this will get moved between several trucks on the way to the destination, and for things not on a skid (and sometimes even when on one) it usually means getting banged around a fair amount. Just some food for thought, and good luck.

I did like how my Reptile Basics rack was shipped. The packing peanuts were a pain, but they always are - the box was heavy duty coardboard, with dense foam protectors at each corner. It arrived pristine.

I look forward to seeing your racks, AKA Dave! Won't be too terribly long before I'll be needing another one....
