Since the purchase of my first boa in 1980, I have never fed in a separate tank. I've had boa's, Burmese, and now BP's. Always fed in their home enclosure. If you want the hassle and expense in feeding in a separate enclosure that choice is yours. Just remember, the Internet created "experts" overnight but they will never replace common sense.

Cage aggression is a myth. I have a corn snake that eats inside her tank and have never had any problems. My ball pythons i feed in a bin because they eat live and it's quicker for me to stop a rodent bite in a bin rather than in a tank (their tanks are on a shelf).
I've heard how im a bad owner for feeding in a bin and blah blah blah. Neither one of them have ever regurgitated a meal, along with the corn snake.
Both methods are fine and are a personal choice:)

    Update:

The BP that went on food strike immediately ate as soon as I offered it to her in-tank and has eaten once more since then. Viola. Thanks, guys

no you haven't, 2 weeks doesn't qualify as a hunger strike. that's like you eating lunch at exactly 12:00 everyday and then eating at 12:01 one day.

see LOL! 12:01, end of hunger strike.
