I'd made a post about temps before because the breeder I got him from kept him around 80 and everyone told me to get it around 90, like I said it hits 93 at MOST. It usually hits 88-91 and I was told that was absolutely fine. As for the humidity I know, I'm working on it, but it's been very much the same since I've had him and this is a very new development in his attitude. Since my husbandry hasn't changed I don't see why his attitude should

The white substance is urate, the solid part of a reptile's urine, so that is totally normal. As far as how long it has been since he last pooed, mine typically goes 7 to 10 days after eating, but has gone as long as 21 days before passing stool. He passes urates every 3 to 5 days, so much more regularly.

Cool side is a bit low. See if you can get it closer to 80.

I have one big girl that has hissed when I open her tub since day one. She has never attempted to strike and tends to calm down immediately once she realizes it is me. She is over 2000 grams now so I don't think her behavior is going to change. She has never once attempted to strike and unlike a lot of ball pythons she does not attempt to ball up or run away. She always handles well once she is out of the tub. She has very interesting behaviors. The only other time any of my other snakes hiss is when they are in shed. Unlike many other keepers I will handle my snakes at any time. I prefer not to mess with them right after they have eaten or when they are in blue however if they show any sign at all of aggression or fear they are going to get handled. I have worked with large animals and dogs for most of my life and have carried the methodologies of working with those animals over to my snakes. Attitude wise believe it or not they remind me of horses and I treat them accordingly. No aggression is tolerated. Behavior modification has to be immediate. With balls this usually means you are coming out of your tub until you calm down.
