that's a 2 week project with sloppy results for this DIY (not!) guy. I'm envious.

Thanks! I'll look into it. Oh, and yes. All the stuff I've been making is all CNC.

I've heard that super glue works really well too, something about how it chemically welds the materials together. I was thinking about it and if you have all your channels routed for the shelves and everything, you might not even need nails or anything. How cool would that be to receive an unassembled rack that you just glue together. I guess I would still use screws on a really big rack like a breeder rack, but some of the smaller racks like a 5 tub 28qt or a hatchling rack you could probably just get by with the adhesive and routed channels for shelves. But I've never worked with pvc to make a rack, so I'm not sure if that would be too hard with making a mistake and not being able to fix it.

I wouldn't glue it. I mean, yeah it'd be super easy but it only took me 15 or 20 minutes to screw the thing together and put tubs in it.

I forgot I was going to post a pic of the 24" cage I made the other day. Here's the prototype in the rack between two 36" units and under a row of 48s.

I have to fine tune the stack, but it fits well. Too bad the color was not a match to the other. Oh well. At least it's temporary.

Those are all awesome!! When we buy our next place (<24 months hopefully) I'd love to set up a stack of cages instead of a rack system. They look great, and the family and I like observing our animals too.
