    Terrified of snakes
I've tried multiple times to buy his Ball from him, but no dice. The snake itself isn't mean, although it is a bit shy most of the time. He likes messing with people a lot, and that's his problem. 17 years old, knows everything, and is wildly immature. He's been on this reptile craze since he got his first job a couple of months ago at UPS. I helped him get on as a seasonal for peak time, and over a grand was spent on reptiles. He's now down to a normal ball mainly because he gets bored with the animals, can't take care of them, or whatever reason he's came up with. I bought a baby bearded dragon from him just because of the fact that he was already having me pay for food, supplies, etc. The crazy thing is, I'm not so much terrified of all snakes in general, mainly the ones I know will try to strike, or especially my brother's because of the fact I usually only see it when it's striking at me. I like the idea of a gardening glove, but I'll probably go a little more than that and wear a thick jacket or something as well. Tomorrow I'm planning on attempting to get the Black Pastel out on my own, as I usually give them 2-3 days after feeding to be safe. I'll post back here and let everyone know how that goes. Also, if I do get a hatchling, sub-adult, etc. I'm looking for something like a Lemonblast or similar. I love the colors on them, and they're not overly expensive from what I've seen so far. We're thinking of driving up to the reptile expo this weekend or next.

It's great that you're trying to overcome you're fear! Congratulations! And a bite doesn't hurt nearly as much as you'd expect! Obviously got no experience myself, but it'd be great if my future girlfriend liked snakes. So make the best of your situation!
