    Re: Heat tape, THG or Flexwatt? Who uses what and why?
    We've only used THG, as we started with it and have been happy.

    A tip: if you do leatherworking, jiffy/rapid rivets work just fine as connectors (set flat, not domed); and the stock connectors look an aaaaaawful lot like eyelets (or grommets, always forget which is which).

    Flexwatt because that is what came with the racks I have bought, whenever I will have to replace the heat source I will likely give THG a try.

    I know you already decided, but figured I'd chime in as well.
    I've only used flexwatt, some since about '02 and been very happy with the results.

    Never heard of THG before but have never bought anything from reptile basics so I guess that explains it.
