Six foot enclosure, narrow flight of stairs

If it's only 30" wide it should get up any staircase. Get an appliance dolly and you can pull it up one stair at a time. They are easy to use and are like 10 bucks to rent at my local Home Depot. A friend and I just pulled a 400 pound safe up a set of stairs with a turn on it with no problem.

Any pictures of this enclosure? If it's wood... I would expect wood glue. That's not coming apart.

Ah! See this is why I came here :) I found a dolly downstairs, gonna do my best. I just moved everything around, have a 80 inch space now, so it will fit.

Its a bit too late to get it muscled up, but I figure I can get it done tomorrow :)

You can also fold up a blanket so it's the width of the stairway, the length of the cage plus a little longer. Lie the enclosure over onto the blanket so it's started up the stairs, and grab the edges of the blanket and pull. If bending over that far is too much for your back(or you're smart), then tie rope to each corner, or leave it way longer so you don't have to bend over as much.

Make certain that you tie the "bottom" corners up and over the bottom end so the thing doesn't slide back down the stairs just as you reach the top(ahem, not that it's ever happened to me... ahem).

You can also lay long boards along the stairs like railroad tracks, tip the enclosure over onto them and push it up, or drag it up with a rope tied around it. It will slide along the boards.

Alternatively, stand it on end next to the bottom step. Take a length of rope and run it both under the enclosure and "behind" it so that you can use that as a handle to pick it up and lift it one step at a time. It'll take time, but you'll be able to go up the steps.

I end up moving everything by myself and there's always a way to move the thing.

A regular dolly might not work. An appliance dolly has roller/guides that help it go up the stairs. I would personally try the regular dolly but if isn't able to do the stairs an appliance dolly should be able to no problem.

This is a very good point. It would make your life much easier if you had a second person below the dolly, just to give it a little "extra lift" when going up over the lip of each step.
