    Really?? Interesting, I would think live would startle the snake even more? Although I will say this, when my BP went on her hunger strike I tried F/T rats, live rats, different colored rats, mice of all kinds, nothing... but when I put a live gerbil in there? It took her about 5 seconds. I hear gerbils are their favorite, but it may just be due to a higher prevalence of them in Africa.

    Right now my game plan is to just leave her be for a couple weeks and than try feeding her after that. After that My goal is to try and not yank my hand back when she's striking like a banshee lol.

    Slow and steady this process shall be but as long as the end result is a calmer, happier animal, it will all be worth it.

    Make sure you go to pick up a snake from behind, from the front you gove a target for them to strike at
