Boiling water will cook it! Just use slightly warm water or even a quick blow dry before offering. Also, don't just dangle the food. You want to grip it with your tongs on the scruff of its back so you can present it in a more life like way. I usually have it "walk" up to the hide the snake is in and it's usually grabbed pretty quick that way. I'd try at night while leaving the lights off in the room and also trying to keep yourself out of the snakes view as much as possible.

6 Quarts Tub until the animal is 150/200 grams after that you are looking at a 10 gallons tank or 15 quarts tub.

Aspen bedding for added security (it allows BP to burrow if needed)

Max temp on the hot side 86/88

NO HANDLING until the animal eats at least 3 to 5 meals consecutively for you.

Give the animal a week to adjust than offer a LIVE hopper mouse (right now trying to switch an animal that is the weight of an hatchling out of the egg is not the priority, the priority is to get the animal to become a consistent feeder)

Size is an issue and securty is PRIORITY NUMBER 1 and this has been proven to work.

I would also recommend not to delay at 65 grams things can go down the hill VERY fast if not addressed quickly.
