Best room humidifier

I just use a 40 dollar ultrasonic from the local store. They will more or less last forever if you run only RO water in them. I do control it with a humidity probe on my herpstat 4. But I also have a small snake room, so it doesn't need much.

I run a GermGuardian HEPA/UV-C air purifier in my herp room year-round. In the winter I put an 8-oz deli cup full of water in front of it so the purified air blows across the top of the deli cup, then I just top off the water each day. The humidity in the room stays around 30-35%, low enough so mold isn't a concern but high enough that the enclosures don't dry out in an hour after being misted.
