the last photo shows the eye line dipping down which does lean towards hog isle, just doesn't look like any of the hogs I've seen before, more like a cross.
Doesn't matter if the OP isn't going to breed her anyways, I was just curious. :)

Whether it is identified as a pure Hog Island or a cross does not matter at this point. You have a nice new pet.

The island boas have a tendency to be more semi arboreal than the mainland boas, but they are all semi arboreal.

The caging is up to you, and you can successfully keep BCs in various setups.

I personally prefer having a setup where they will display the full spectrum of their behaviors. I always provide climbing options and very much enjoy seeing them use their whole cage.

My locality boa (Barranquilla, Colombia) often feeds from his perches and I don't think anybody would say it is not exciting to watch. Check out the rabbit he has up by the front perch.

You have a nice looking snake and I'd wager it would have a climb if given the opportunity.

    Thanks guys!

I'm waiting for a tank to show her off in my living room and get to watch her more. Hopefully will get to see more action and also play around with a bigger live vivarium (I just love making it as real as possible). Hopefully I'll get all I need soon to do it :D
As of right now the largest I went was for geckos at 24"x24"x18". It'll be quite an adventure to get bigger !
