    Then I would suggest a radiant heat panel as an alternative before something goes wrong.
    I would also suggest getting a non contact thermometer to check your temperatures because your thermostat could be off my a couple degrees.

    Putting the UTH and/or probe under the enclosure would not work - at all. There's 2 1/2 inches of wood separating from the top and bottom of the floor.

    Probes and mat fine in encloser just put news paper over it then abit of bedding
