    Ball pythons do very well with belly heat. Unlike corn snakes it should give a basking spot around 90-92*F rather than in the mid-80's.

    Put a damp towel in his tub for 10-15 minutes. And as others said foil over the top. When the snakes get bigger ceramics better [emoji12]

    Go to the hardware store and buy a roll of aluminum tape. It works much better than regular tinfoil to cover your top. Also pick up some spangium moss at the pet store and maybe pack some in the back corners of your enclosure and mist them down so their good and damp during his shed cycle.

    When I know one of my snake's are about to shed, I get a small cup and fill it with damp sphagnum moss. I put it in their tub for the duration of their shed and it works perfectly. It really does help! But it won't help until you get the lid covered.
