    I guess I don't understand. Why is that? I just got him yesterday morning so he eye and the stuck shed weren't because of my husbandry. He was like that when I got him, so my humidity has nothing to do with it yet.

    I am saying that the gauge is junk on both temperature and humidity readings and you shouldn't base your husbandry off of it.

    He's looking better without that stuck shed! I'm happy to see you trying to help him so eagerly already :)

    Those gauges aren't accurate- some older members could point you in the direction of better ones. I use heat pads right now, but will be moving to a rack sometime in January with heat tape and all that fancy stuff, when I talk to my breeder he'll help me get what I need setup.

    Okay, I'll get a different one. I have the heat strips in all of my other tanks. That's just the one I had. I plan to get a temp gun but I needed to get some idea. But I will find something else

    Dont agreed when people say you shouldnt handle your snakes never had a problem with any of mine feeding due to handling, the moving about just means the tempatures are off somewere or he doesnt feel comfotable in his hides get the smallest ones possible for him
