Please don't take that negativity to heart! Even if you had been gifted your entire collection, maintaining that many snakes is hard enough work. Anyone who thinks you're spoiled is small-minded, and even if you were it doesn't matter so long as your animals get proper care - be it from you, your parents, or a team of butlers. ;)
A lot of younger folks catch some flak in the community (as a whole, not this forum in particular). Part of it is because some kids lose interest and neglect their pets when other hobbies become more important to them. 42 snakes isn't just an impulse pet though, that's a lifestyle! And for every kid that does give away their old pet reptile, there are people like you and I and even top breeders that started out by catching salamanders in their backyard.
Having a hobby with nearly half a hundred snakes is just about the same amount of work as having a business with half a hundred snakes, so don't let that distinction discourage you either. I don't know of many people here who judge between the two, but I guess there's a few judging by some earlier posts in this thread. People who succeed in their business are the ones who realize it's the hobbyists who KEEP them in business, anyway. So whatever you decide to call it, enjoy yourself and the animals.
Keep asking questions here, there's a ton of knowledge on this forum. And when you get a chance, share some pictures of your collection!

Re: need help
It's awesome that your parents are so supportive and you're getting to live your passion so early. I would have loved to be able to do that when I was a teenager. That being said, I'm only 21, but I got my first snake at 19. Keep doing what your doing, if it makes you happy and your animals are healthy then I see nothing wrong with it.

Don't sweat it. I don't believe anyone thinks that you are spoiled. It looks like you have a very nice collection started. You should show us some pictures! You can't own all those nice morphs and not show them off!

Re: need help
Man, I wish my parents were that supportive of all my critters when I was younger. I always got in trouble for bringing home new pets lol
Nice collection you have, a very good start to what hopefully will be a long and exciting hobby for you! I know everyone here would be happy to help you and answer any questions you have so feel free to ask away.
