that said for some one who is in that emotional state to go and make statements as if proven fact should be nodded at and then just let the comments float on by. unless he has documented evidence to prove any of it there is no resion to give it a second thought. just let the man grieve and try to not grief him in his time of mourning.

I would be more inclined to agree with you, if the case involved just about any other person.

The death happened a while ago, so at this point the question is academic. Jay has a large well known facility, has made lots of videos, and presents himself as an expert. However, IMHO, his husbandry practices are deplorable. This is not the first thread he has been trashed on, and rightly so. His large internet presence lowers the bar for everyone, and makes the hobby look bad.

im not trying to defend the man the few video's i have seen of him make me question his safety the safety of his staff and of his animals. however i didn't know the death was a while ago, still bashing some one about a death of an animal seems wrong to me.

but sense he has had snakes for.... ever, and he likely is unwilling to change his habits when it comes to the care of them i see your points.

Just look at how grossly overweight that snake was in pictures and videos. The body should taper off towards the end but that animal's tail was vastly thinner than anything north of the vent. The animal was fed to death.
