Certain morphs seem to be more prone to paradoxing than others. I know cinnamon, calico, and pastel tend to make some wonky paradox looking snakes when combined (not the same as what's pictured, but a form of paradox all the same). Then there's also the atomic gene, which I haven't seen much of, but looks to be a proven genetic paradox.
I wonder can we really say how rare it is? two embryos combining may not be as rare as we think, if the twins were the same morph you would never know, there are humans who are chimeras but only know this due to genetic testing, nothing visual indicates it. I'd be interested in some sort of study on this even if it isn't reptile related
