    Re: Cleaning feeding related things?
I mostly do fresh kill for my animals so i just carry the mice\rats in the co2 chamber and feed right from that using hemostats. Then spray down the stats and the chamber with chlorohexadine solution and wipe it out. I use craft paper as substrate so i don't have a need for serving dish . When using frozen thawed (been a while since i started breeding rats) I did have a metal tray that I had over a heat pad (dollar store tray) for warming thawed prey. I did the same and sprayed with chlorohexadine. My fiance is a clean freak so I to show her all the facts about chlorohexadine and show her my cleaning methods before it was approved lol! I may be moving to f10 but for now 1 gallon of what I use is only $20 so im happy.

I just use a bit of soap and water on my tongs. When I need a quick thaw I place rodents on armetale plate in front of a fan. The plate gets cleaned like any other dirty dish - soap and water.
