    Yoiu would probably not rip the eye out at all. But you might take some of the healthy skin under the eye cap with the tape.

    Not true. I've seen it happen. Tape is not a good thing to put anywhere near your snake.

    Rip the whole eye out!?!?!?! Thats crazy! Either they didn't stop when they realized they were pulling and nothing was giving, or snakes ares are not that securley attached to the head. Anyway, whatever would happen, I think we both can agree that it would do serious damage.

    They "thought" that they were pulling the eyecap off, but had no clue what they were doing and before they knew it, they had pulled the entire eye out.

    I'm not sure what you would consider "securely attached", but I am almost certain that the intention wasn't to keep the eye in place when yanked on with a piece of tape.
