What is the desirable genotype of the Banana morph to appear as; bright contrast colors, no purple dots, etc.?

Not quite. Male-maker bananas still produce typical overall sex ratios in their clutches. It's just the bananas he produces are much more likely to be male and the non-bananas he produces are much more likely to be female.

Oh oops the way i worded that made it seem like there would be only bananas produced ahaha. Also what is so important about yellow bellies? I can hardly tell the difference in appearance between a normal belly. Is it because they can produce ivories?

That's what I would consider some of the more desirable phenotypes ;) in a Banana, but that might not be true for everyone.
With BPs, there are some morphs that have more classic standards of what good looks like - Enchi, Orange Dream, etc. Then, there are other morphs whose phenotypes vary widely enough to find people at all ends of the spectrum - Pied, Clown, etc. I would say that Banana falls in the "something for everybody" category. The difference then comes down to whether someone likes clean/busy, high/low contrast, bright/dark, animals in general. :)

Oh, it's not just Ivories.
The entire Yellowbelly complex is pretty incredible - check out a few of the following:
- YB x Asphalt = Freeway
- YB x Gravel = Highway
- YB x Spark = Puma
- YB x Spector = Super Stripe
Beyond the YB complex morphs I listed above, YB is one of the best "enhancer" genes out there. Alone, it doesn't tend to look like much. When combined appropriately, it really takes an animal to the next level (OD vs OD YB, etc).
