    This hands down...and to add to it any lizard will be more work than a snake, but they are more intelligent and IMO rewarding. What you really need to look at is the requirements for different lizards. They are active animals that will burrow, climb, dig, etc. Are you willing to keep a steady supply of bugs or would you rather a lizard that didn't need insects in their diet?
