Thawing Rats

Keep in mind whatever substrate youre using. If youre using cypress or something like it, the substrate may stick to the rodent, with your snake ingesting it. I thaw mine out in water, but dry them off before feeding them to my snakes.

I would not want to thaw a rat while under vacuum. Sounds messy.
