Matatabi, Enchi Leopard poss het. Pied

oh snap, i think i saw that posting. the same breeder has an Enchi Ghost male i think that i PM'ed him about. i'm very tempted (but i just got back from a trip that i spent too much money on and would rather get girl BP's right now).

leopard gene seems to be close to the pied gene means you have a lo of chance she is het. pied but he side makers are not there. i still give her a big 90% to be knowing the pairing.

I think you guys will be disappointed to see how much she has browned out. But she is in shed, we'll see how she looks after. I still like her though. Has a great personality. I think she's going to be my favorite. I had to get some live mice, had one extra and decided to offer it to her just to see. She took it right away.

you will need a pro opinion for the het. pied because i don t see it. usually it s obvious on leopard, champagne, lesser, mojave

With good odds that she's het pied I was considering getting a male pied instead of a female. But without the markers I might stick with my original plan. Unless I can find a good deal on an axanthic het pied male. Its no big deal to me if she doesn't prove out.

i wouldn't be worried if she doesn't show any markers being her for pied. i have a champagne combo girl and a leopard combo girl. my champagne girl has a ringer but i know she's not het for pied (tho she is het ghost). my leopard girl has no markings and isn't het for anything let alone pied yet some peeps still believe all leopards are hets.

i wouldn't worry about it and just trust the pairing that produced your beautiful new baby girl. :)

If she doesn't prove out its no big deal to me. I still think she's great :).
