Burms due to their giant size have a smaller following, versus BPs which are great pet snakes for the beginner to expert hobbyist have many more people able/willing to care for them. BP popularity has boomed.

Main reason is that albino burms have been around awhile and burms have huge clutches which means there are thousands upon thousands of them, while the albino bp hasn't been around so long and bps are slow to reproduce (4-8 eggs in a clutch)

I've heard of them, but don't know much about them. You could try googling it.

Hey, if you ask me, a thousand bucks is worth having a managable sized burmese. Gorgeous creatures...

Sweet pics, btw. Looks like a huge rat.

I wish we could get the wording of that state law revised. I've seen Columbian BCI's for sale in the local chain pet stores.

Oh geez me too.. we sell BCI babies where I work. No one seems to know the law. I haven't had much luck in finding out about permits for keeping the bigger snakes. On the webpage that outlines the law, it says you can't own 6' plus snakes 'except by permit'.. so I'm trying to find out.
