    Got it thanks, apparently this is a broad issue that has othing to do with the image or the account, I am myself no longer able to change my avatar.

    I will make a note in the mode room and see if we can get this corrected.

    Yes if your gif file is no larger than 150 wide by 180 high and no larger than 170.9 KB it will work.

    My avatar is a Gif file. :gj:

    Ah, now it's small enough but it keeps saying 'Invalid url'. Is www. after http:// a necessity? D:

    Did you try to upload directly from your computer as well instead of using a link?


    If yes and it does not work either I will get an admin to look into it for you.

    Right now the easiest solution is to save the animated gif on your computer and upload it :gj:

    I did that but it didn't work the first time. o: Now it does though, yay! :D

    i wanna gif avi too!

    but i can't seem to get mine to work. there's no animation. it's supposed to look like this:

    i resized it using Tinypic and even saved it and tried uploading from my computer.

    anyway i'll fiddle with it more later. (going to dinner now. :) )

    When you re-sized it you lost the animation part nothing to do with us.
