    That's an adult male in a four foot cage with hides. This snake is normally in a three foot cage but swapped until some others grow up a bit. He's about four feet long and five pounds. I would use 3-4 foot cages for an adult bp personally.

    Thank you everyone for the input. I will be getting one to start with as that's the way I can afford to go forward. I will measure as I go and see if I need dividers to make it smaller. But my biggest question would be if the outside air is cool will the belly heat keep the whole enclosure warm? Or should I plan on having supplemental heat sources like a RHP or something like that?

    EL-Ziggy, did you have AP cut a hole(s) in the top of your T-8 for your CHE ?
