lol, you'll find that at this site, they tend to try and discourage people from cussing. I know cr4p isn't that bad of a word at all, but it's blocked for some reason, lol.
John, very nice setup. Looks cool! Just a few things I noticed. Your stickon thermometer is a bit high up on the cage to measure the temps accurately(although those analog thermometers are known to be way off for accurate temp readings...). If you could, I'd suggest putting them lower, like half an inch above the substrate. Or just go digital. :) (Acurite digital thermo/hygro with probe at Walmart-15 bucks)
Also noticed you have neat decorations in the water. It's pretty cool looking. But I had stuff like that in my bp's water dish for a few days and noticed that if not scrubbed clean thoroughly daily, they'd develop a slimy film/residue on them. It became too much hassle cleaning them, so I removed them. But if you can clean them good, then I say go for it! They look cool. :)
Very nice setup.

It's a FAMILY friendly site, Oreo - hence the filters.

Thanks Cody. I really appreciate the tips. I'm going to be investing in a new thermometer this week.

I change the water and clean the bowls daily. She has a larger swimming pool with the decorations and a smaller water dish over near her favorite hide.
The whole setup was handed down to me from my friend who had to move out of the country. I know Shara really doesn't know the difference but it sure looks nice. I know she really loves the driftwood and the vines because she goes climbing every night.
Right now I'm cleaning the water bowls and checking for p00 and wetness daily, clean the decorations weekly, and change the substrate and thoroughly clean the enclosure monthly. Does that sound ok? Thanks again for your tips!!
