Just an update. She is growing like a weed! She has also made a place for herself in my heart and is absolutely my favorite snake (and I'm actually up to 4 now with a new lesser female). She appears to love being handled and every time I enter the room her little head pokes out of her hide. If I put my hand out right in front of her hide, she'll come out and sniff around and climb aboard if she feels like being handled. She really has the best personality of any ball python I've handled.

She was 91 grams a month ago and just weighed in at 162 grams empty. Last night I fed her a fuzzy rat and realized as she gulped it down that it was way too small for her now. Sure enough when she was finished she just looked at me and started to search around for more food. I guess it's on to rat pups next week.

Gonna have to try and take some real pics of her soon. Here's some more crappy cellphone ones for now.

She's gorgeous! I'm holding out hope to manage to get a Super Pastel Banana eventually. I seem to have a thing for banana snakes... since both of my Kings are bananas. Yet I actually don't much like the fruit....

I don't find banana the most fitting term. I like coral glow better. The pattern reminds me more of coral with the black spots and such. I do plan to breed her one day. She is 50% het orange ghost so hopefully I can pair her with an orange ghost and prove it out.

Here's a better pic of her colors:

Re: New addition: Quorra, my second BP!
Gosh she looks amazing [emoji7] I've always had an obsession with bananas and if my parents would let me get another that'd definitely be it. Scared for when I move out tho my house might just be a snake zoo [emoji12]

It's fun revisiting this thread and seeing how tiny she was. Quorra recently turned a year old and is now over 700 grams and still an extremely sweet and curious little snake. She is my best at being handled and the least head shy of all my snakes (of which I've acquired a few more...).

Here's a pic of her in her current state of chub:

And to really get an idea of her size:

Come a long way from being a little 90 gram worm...
